I go by Bia. I have almost 20 years of experience in User Experience Design. My degree is in System Information and I have two masters, 1 in Info Architecture and another in Business Administration.

12 years ago when I joined Intel, at the Open Source Technology Center, Developer Experience became my expertise and developers community my passion.

I’m an introvert, and I practice mindful listening. I can go deep into the details, I love numbers and I thrive driving execution.

Hello, I am Scott Baker. I'm a Principal Engineer at Intel. I spend most of my time working on the Edge Management Framework, which manages everything from edge nodes to AI applications deployed on those nodes, and all the Kubernetes layers in between. Of course, one of the things that I deploy often is the Edge Microvisor Toolkit. EMT is known for its rapid deployment and small footprint and I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with the EMT community.

I'm interested in:

• Delivering high-quality Opensource software.
• Gaining experience with new AI applications, including operationalizing them on our platform.
• Enabling efficient edge nodes through software like EMT
• Pushing the boundaries of the distributed edge, making it smarter and more active.

Hey, I’m Mats — a Sr. Principal Engineer in the Edge Computing Group at Intel. I primarily work on the Edge Microvisor Toolkit (EMT) and operating systems, and have been closely involved in defining the architecture of the Edge Management Framework — from provisioning all the way to decommissioning of edge nodes.

I’ve been with Intel for over 20 years, building my career across a wide range of technologies, including Wi-Fi, BMC, Bluetooth, IoT, and now Edge Computing. It’s been exciting to watch these areas evolve and to help shape how Intel’s platforms enable them. I’m especially looking forward to where we take the EMT community in the coming quarters.

What I want to do here:

• Deliver a robust Edge Microvisor Toolkit that highlights the compute benefits Intel platforms can unlock when paired with the latest Intel software stack, from kernel to user space
• Enable flexible customization and composition of EMT images so you can tailor deployments to your specific workloads
• Simplify edge node management by reducing overhead and complexity
• Contribute high-quality open source software to the Open Edge Platform
