[Feature Request]: Enable Chained Tasks Project Creation for Annotated Dataset

I have a dataset annotated in an old GETI 1.8 server which contains both Detection and Segmentation annotations. I exported the dataset in COCO format. I uploaded this dataset on to GETI 2.10 server and tried to create a Chained Task project from this but this option is not available.

Next I converted the COCO dataset to datumaro format in the hopes that GETI 2.10 will allow the creation of Chained Task project from datumaro formatted dataset, but unfortunately the option is also not available.

Can dev team add this feature please?

Hi Khairul,

What might work is if you manually create a Detection -> Segmentation project and then import the COCO (or Datumaro) format into that project's dataset.
The UI should then allow you to map the labels from your dataset to the labels from the new project.

If this doesn't work then perhaps we could write up a script to upload each image + annotation 1 by 1. It shouldn't be too hard to do this using either the SDK or using the REST API directly. Feel free to reach out though if you have any questions.
