Updating metainfo.xml release info

Tere, as part of a release, it's nice to add the release info to the metainfo.xml file so it shows up in package managers, software stores, etc. I know changelogs aren't the most fun part of development, so if RIA don't feel like doing it I volunteer to go through the commits, write a changelog, and open a PR whenever a release is due. Is there some way I could be notified about that?

FYI, they seem to have kind of a changelog on the releases page here on Github.
