Good afternoon
In the process of testing Openmetadata, a number of questions arose that you would like to clarify.
I would like to be able to use the USAGE Ingestion mode for Oracle databases. They are very common and the presence of the log analysis mode for them would greatly facilitate the work.
the Profile Ingestion mode for the Oracle database is worked out without errors, but does not add any data as a sample, the Profile mode for tables also does not turn on. Tell me, please, what could be the problem.
Tell me, please, what should be the settings on the MS SQL Server so that the regime for reading the query log logs in the USAGE Ingestion.
In addition, are there any subtleties of the MS SQL Server settings for the correct Connect to it? It is very difficult to connect, there is a suspicion that a certain setting relative to Trusted Connection is needed, but there is no such information in the documentation
How to get rid of phantom tables in the already loaded working storage, which are no longer in the source? For example, we change from the table in the source the scheme, it remains in the storage, but when you try to access it, it gives out an error. And you can’t remove it.
Thank you!
Sincerely, Vadim Yurasov
