Sync entities to git

Hi
We are building a platform that we want to distribute. It s composed of a few modules that we version.
We would like to provide a catalogue for read-only but our customers. Ideally we would like to discover in a test environment, clean up and add more information, then export all for a domain and version in git.
We would then deploy this information part of the module deployment.

Is there such a solution?
Should we develop a java program?
Ideally we would store the entities in yml instead of Json for readability.
