Any idea how to configure environment in colab?

I keep getting error installing environment in colab.

ImportError: /usr/local/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/mmcv/_ext.cpython-36m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6caffe28TypeMeta21_typeMetaDataInstanceISt7complexIdEEEPKNS_6detail12TypeMetaDataEv

Can you please tell us more details about the Pytorch and mmcv versions you are using.

I might be a little late, but I setup my environment for Mmdet on collab the following way:

!mim install mmdet
!rm -rf mmdetection
!git clone https://github.com/open-mmlab/mmdetection.git
%cd mmdetection

##checking the installations

import torch, torchvision
print(torch.__version__, torch.cuda.is_available())

import mmdet
print(mmdet.__version__)

from mmcv.ops import get_compiling_cuda_version, get_compiler_version
print(get_compiling_cuda_version())
print(get_compiler_version())
