How to get intermediate outputs from the MAERec model?

I have been using the MAERec model for handwritten text recognition. I have been trying to get the intermediate results from the model like attention maps from the encoder to get a better understanding as to why the model is performing poorly. I have not been able to find any API in mmocr using which I can access the outputs of the intermediate layers. Please help me. Thank you.
