Overview

We’re setting up a dedicated community repository to support OpenNest Africa’s mission of welcoming, onboarding, and engaging contributors of all backgrounds—especially beginners, students, and career switchers.

This repo will be the central place for:

Community discussions

Onboarding guides

Contributor resources

Glossaries, learning paths, and mentorship info

Highlighting member stories and open source journeys

We’re looking for collaborators to help structure and set this up!

Goals of the Repo

Create a welcoming README and Code of Conduct

Set up an onboarding folder with helpful guides

Add a resources section (links, guides, glossary)

Add a community section for introductions and events

Use Issues & Discussions for engagement
