did somebody not use the viterbi decoder ip

i use the viterbi decoder （https://github.com/BaimingZhang26213/viterbi_decoder/blob/master/README.md）
when i simulate the openofdm_rx, the byte_out is not right,the signal_bit[23:0] is error , did somebody use the similiar method? which is the question

If you read the paper, the authors tried the same thing with no success.

As mentioned in 6.4, although the simulation results
showed that the ported Viterbi decoder decoded correctly,
it did not work properly when integrated into OpenWiFi and
loaded on the FPGA. It needed more time to debug and
address the problem
