I was going over https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/tree/main/receiver/prometheusreceiver#unsupported-features and saw that Prometheus rule_files are yet implemented in the Prometheus scraper receiver.
I've come across some scenarios where the existing OTLP processors do not, yet, offer support for more advance metric computations. These computations could easily be done in Prometheus through their query language. Are you aware of any plans to add support for Prometheus rule_files in the Prometheus scraper receiver in the near future?
