vcenter vm perf metrics have different sampling intervals than the OTEL exporter intervals.

Hi Team,
VM metrics are collected in 20-second intervals (real time) as per the vCenter time. So the data collected using vcenter receiver for a specific interval(say5 minutes) to be to be exported to an exporter may not be accurate/expected. Is there a way to handle this scenario ?

how to ensure that the collection interval(5 minz), matches will the vcenter perf sampling interval(20 secs).
