Timeline for stable version of opentelemetry dotnet framework libraries

Does anyone know when the stable version of the packages specific to Dotnet Framework be available.

Are there any alternate nuget packages that could be considered instead, that does similar instrumentation for dotnet framework <4.8

I think its been more than a while since the stable versions are not ready. Is there any specific reason for the why its taking so long?

The libraries are usually marked stable when the Semantic Conventions they implement are marked as stable.

There's more information related to this in the individual README files for the libraries in question.
