I noticed that when I enable the OTEL disk cache (In OTEL Android) like this:
I can no longer use my own
BatchSpanProcessorwith a custom exporter, for example:Instead, I have to rely on the default batch processor that OTEL creates internally.
It seems that to register my exporter, I must use:
However, this doesn’t allow me to configure parameters such as maxQueueSize, scheduleDelay, exporterTimeout, or maxExportBatchSize.
👉 Question:
Is there any way to use disk buffering and still define my own exporter and customized BatchSpanProcessor settings?
Or at least a way to override those parameters for the OTEL-managed processor?
