Tracing user events on the frontend.

Hello,

I am new to open-telemetry library. Doing my research around the functionalities provided by open-telemetry.

I wanted to know is there a way to trace the user events like click, mouse events on the frontend part. I checked the tracer-web example directory but it does not suffice my requirement.

Is there any release in future where open-telemetry is going to trace the frontend user activities too?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think the instrumentation @opentelemetry/instrumentation-user-interaction is what you're looking for.
