Unable to implement Auto Instrumentation on loopback nodejs app

I have been trying to implement auto instrumentation on a loopback nodejs todo app. For some reason, this implementation is not working. Create loopback app using https://loopback.io/. The app is working fine.

Here's the script that runs both

Here's the output I'm getting. I am not getting traces for anything other than this initial response.

node instrumentation.js && node -r source-map-support/register .
It seems you run two node.js processes here which seems to be wrong.

Try node r ./instrumentation.js -r source-map-support/register . which first preloads the OTel init code in the same process as the app to monitor.
