We (SIG Comms Maintainer) discussed about next steps to help the UK localization SIG to grow. Thanks to @didiViking we have 2 more potential contributors now:-)

As previously discussed, we can not simply merge the #5891 right now, as it is too big for reviewers to check and approve, especially since the localization team is just building up. We also want to hold back merging it, because right now the UK localization team needs to grow and agree on certain rules for their localizations (what words are translated to what, which words are kept english, etc.)

At the same time, we want to recognize the time and the effort, that is put into the work for https://andygol-otel.netlify.app/uk/ that you are driving, @Andygol. Our proposal is to do the following: for pages that are not localized on opentelemetry.io/uk yet, we update the banner at the top of the page pointing out to your localization, with a note that the translation has not been reviewed by a second person.

E.g.

https://opentelemetry.io/uk/docs/concepts/observability-primer/

would state something like

You are viewing the English version of the page because it has not yet been fully translated into Ukrainian. 

You can find an inofficial localization at https://andygol-otel.netlify.app/uk/, which has not been peer-reviewed.
