I have some trails in my database that are ~1000km long and a lot that are around 30-40kms. The current scaling of the distance filter makes it really hard to filter for e.g. trails that are between 30 and 35 km, since that range is only 1/200 of the whole slider.
Having a logarithmic scale would make it much easier, since then the ranges of 1-10, 10-100 and 100-1000 would each make 1/3 of the slider.
Of course, typing in the bounds would be another alternative.
