Does anyone know how to run these servers via mcpo?

Not silly at all, if you ask me.

I'm having trouble finding out how to use these aswell (docker only).

Unfortunately there is no way for me to install them on the host (outside of docker),
and I could not really get the right way to do it on dockerized open-webui + mcpo..

I followed the docs, but I have no Idea if this is the right way for docker..

For Example:
I tried the following docker-mcpo-config for server-time, which worked flawlessly, like documented:

This however was my first guess on how to use the other (included) servers, e.g. memory:

... which fails the container-start with:

  ╰─▶ Because mcp-server-memory was not found in the package registry and
      you require mcp-server-memory, we can conclude that your requirements
      are unsatisfiable

As mentioned in the docs, there's support for these aswell (But I have no clue on how to use correctly):
modelcontextprotocol/servers on GitHub

This config doesn't seem to work either:

Can anyone share a way of adding different servers using mcpo in docker?

Nvm.. Got it to work with the last config (from above):

I guess my config was not updated properly the first time.

Packages need to be present in NPM's Repo, for mcpo to automatically run them.

Is this config for Desktop app (like Claude/VS Code, etc) or OpenWeb UI ? If for OpenWeb UI, then where and how should I provide it so that my OpenWeb UI can use it?

I think I figured out a way to do it with a JSON config.
Use this command:
uvx mcpo -c /path/to/mcp.json
Where /path/to/mcp.json is the patch to your mcp.json file

This next part is what tricked me
When you connect it in open-webui, you CANNOT just to this:

You have to make a separate tool server for each tool in the config.
My config includes

So I would add http://localhost:8000/github

And REPEAT this for each tool. If you just put the base URL, it doesn't work.

Side note: The URL must start with the protocol (http, https) otherwise the brower request won't work.
So it HAS to be http://localhost:8000/github, not just localhost:8000/github

From where did the /github path come?
And from where is this port number coming?

/github is there because the key for my GitHub config is "github": {...}

Port 8000 is default, but you can change it. I'm on mobile RN but I think the project readme has an example for port number
