I would like to know how OpenTCS can achieve cross-floor communication in an elegant manner.

When there are multiple floors in my actual scene that are connected by elevators to move between each other, in the current version I use external devices to interface with the elevators. However, if I don't draw a line to another floor, OpenTS cannot plan a path. What are some good ideas for this issue, or will the official consider the adaptation of this part?

With "external devices", you probably mean peripheral devices, controlled via a peripheral comm adapter in openTCS.

You can define one point in the plant model as the inside of an elevator, and paths leading to it could trigger peripheral jobs that call the elevator.
