Feature: Codex Projects: Shared Context and Best Practices

I have been using codex since Friday and noticed that the most frequent changes that I request AI to make are around best practices and funny enough, I had same issue at my job with Junior developers. I solved it by establishing documentation of best practices and adding it to onboarding plan for every new developer.

What?

Add Projects to codex, allowing developers to:
2. Provide additional instructions, specifically best practices.
3. Add diagrams and other relevant non text based documents.
4. Manage API key used for each project. This will help a lot for enterprises to track spending by project.

Eventually projects can be stored on a remote storage allowing team members to share base context of the project.

How

1. Add new CLI subcommands: codex project create|list|set|details|update|delete
2. When using a project, inject additional context to prompts

Example Usage

codex project create my-project
codex project list
codex project set my-project
codex project details
codex project update --api-key MY_API_KEY --instructions "Use snake casing...." --docs /.codex/my-project/docs
codex project delete my-project
