As someone from an content marketing agency

Hello everyone.

As a guy from an content agency, I really need access to latest OpenAI features in my content creation work.
But, participating in these activities around openai/evals that are mandatory to receive access to latest features of OpenAI is something that I don't understand quite well because of lack in tech advanced know-how.

So, I have no possibility to obtain access to latest features of this wonderful tool.

What can I do to participate, is to create evaluations, based on overall approach of content communication.
Have the possibility and know-how to do tests on qualitative content & communication input-output - ex. Apples are good. Tested against different prompts: ex. Why an apple is bad?, Why an fruit is good?, Why apple is good? - with different numerical parameters scenarios and also on different content from web pages.

So this kind of support & participation I'm willing, wanting, able to participate to obtain access to latest feature of OpenAI.

Relying, even partially, on the evals project to get access is probably not the best strategy. Do make sure you are on the waitlist.

Also, you can probably get by with using GPT3-5 and self refinement techniques to come close to GPT4 performance. Have it explain its reasoning, along with alternative ideas / approaches for something extensively and then go back and re-feed that reasoning in to have it pick the option it thinks most likely after thinking it through.

This can actually be quite a bit cheaper than GPT4 and almost as performant.

In my case, as working on one item at a time, to pay a 0.09 per a request, as we work on pieces of content one at a time, its not an issue. But in my case, I feel the pressure of clients to obtain through us as content agency access to latest trends / stack in the domain.

So here I have some frustration.

Regarding the workouts based on prompt engeniering on GPT-3-5, sure, I personally reached the title of been the author of more then 1000 prompts variations, and unique approaches to the input/output of AI. And still there is mystery on outputs of 4th version.

So, to conclude, clients want, i personally want, but lack of tech advanced skills keep me away from the latest version.

Yeah, I hear you. Before I got access I was deeply frustrated as well. It feels the waitlist is being dealt with to maximize total FOMO or something. People who don't care and don't use it get access, while folks who actually need it for their livelihoods are waiting. Bizarre, really.
