Model parameter compatibility documentation

Is there official documentation showing which API parameters are supported by each model?
Currently it's difficult to find comprehensive documentation about parameter compatibility.
for example, reasoning models don't support temperature/top_p while non-reasoning models do.
Is there a centralized compatibility matrix available?

Hi, thanks for asking this question. I hear there is the lack of information about the difference between reasoning (e.g., o3) and non-reasoning (e.g., gpt-4.1) in terms of responses api parameters.

Some of the information are clearly mentioned at https://platform.openai.com/docs/api-reference/responses/create but this page does not clearly mention when these parameters are available.

In a nutshell, temperature and top_p are the most common pitfall. Others should work for both types of models.
