Transaltion from English to any other language for non- English people

Hello,
Could you confirm if whisper has the functionality to translate from English to another Language?
This is to support a live speaking to people to are not English (ie. live preaching as an example and people will receive the transaltion via headset)

Whisper cannot translate from English to other languages consistently - although it will "accidentally" translate to other languages.

More specifically, the authors have stated "Translating into languages other than English wasn't a part of the training objective." There is more discussion in the threads below.
