Is there a list of all the command line switches and what they do?

When I run whisper some of the command line switches are obvious but some are not. Is there a list someplace of all of them and more or less what they do and perhaps a wee bit of guidance for using them?

If you are unsure about anything, I recommend searching the discussion boards. There is a vast amount of good information there about the many different options. It is very helpful for new users.

Please look at what I asked for. If you have not seen a place that does not have the various options and some discussion as to what they do, where they may be used and reasonable parameters for them, that is fine. You need not jump in and say you do not know. OTOH if someone does know, by all means, please chime in. I am not looking for a dissertation, more of a cheat sheet.

Nevertheless, @glangford was right to jump in anyway and explain how guidance is actually provided here in this project, because Q&As are intended to benefit multiple people, and that is the kind of practical answer that will benefit most people who stumble upon this question.
