Sim racing Speech recognition

Could i use whisper to recognize my voice for this: https://www.thedigitalraceengineer.com/ or this: https://thecrewchief.org/?
You can use it without speech recognition but it would be better if i could the Spotter questions, eg; How much fuel do i have, Whats my position?. It already has code to react to voices im just wondering if wisper could work with the AI spotters above.
