Cannot see or filter for non-focused pollutants like CO2

I'm interested in CO2 readings but this option does not show up in the filter dropdown on the map. I cannot even see the readings if I visit directly the page for a sensor that is known to have CO2, such as an AirGradient. Do non-focused pollutants require some kind of a paid account? (If so it could be made more obvious to the user.) I'm using Safari on an iPad.

Thanks for commenting on this. OpenAQ does not currently ingest CO2 measurement data which is the primary reason you do not see it in the dropdown on explorer.

More broadly the parameters shown in the drop down are limited to just the most common criteria pollutants (of which CO2 is not classified). The map view is only provided to help guide and filter.

OpenAQ does ingest other parameters outside of criteria pollutants including meteorological measures and in rare cases other pollutants. These other parameters are only left out of the UI for simplicity sake. Other parameters such as meteorological as visible and downloadable in the location page (or via the API)

There is currently no limitation of what is available to paid accounts or otherwise.

Ah, thanks. The help doc on the map and elsewhere are a little misleading then because it suggests CO2 is included, just not as a "focused pollutant".
