To help guide users do not exceed the 1000 record limit in the download section it would be helpful to provide more guidance in the UI on when a user may exceed that value based on the time period and the reporting period of the sensors. We should be able to infer the reporting period from the location or at least a sample from one of the sensors via the period object. e.g.
5 parameters * 1 hour reporting * 24 hours a day * 30 days = 3600
This would exceed the 1000 limit and the user could either limit parameters or limit the time range.
Even though full coverage may not exists we could give a decent estimate and prevent user action in the case that there request may exceed the limit. This functionality should also include better error handling for the download feature and guidance on how to carefully limit requests.
