ESLint is deprecating its style rules

Meaning many if not all of the ESLint style rules we are employing are not maintained anymore, so we should probably do something about that and decide on how we want to go forward. Do we want to keep enforcing style rules? And how should they be enforced?

If we like how things are, we should consider using @stylistic/eslint-plugin (https://eslint.style/guide/migration).
