PROJECT: Component interoperability (Tobira and Stud.IP Integration)

Tobira and Stud.IP both integrate with Opencast. A rewrite of the Stud.IP plugin has just been released. We know that both components fight each other at several places. They shouldn't.

We want to evaluate the whole package, identify problems and – if possible – ensure that users have a seamless experience when working with their videos in all three systems.

Osnabrück University will take care of the initial evaluation.

Apologies @lkiesow if you answered this during the meeting: Is this unique to Stud.IP or might other LMS have similar problems?

@lkiesow: At UniBe we have a solution in productive operation since quite some time with which we can control the publication on Tobira in a rudimentary way via the ILIAS plugin (using templates of access rights). This works quite stable for us at the moment. However, we are always interested in possible optimisations. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or want to discuss options.
