User Story

As a product owner, I want to know how Guest Invites are currently implemented, along with a simple way of invite via email.

User Value

Transparency - We can calculate how many sprints and how much work are needed to get an overview.

General Invite flow:

1. Files can be shared with an external email address.
2. The system detects whether the person already has access.
3. If not, access is prepared automatically.
4. The external person receives an email invitation.
5. After accepting the invitation, they can access the shared file.

Acceptance Criteria

• investigate what is currently implemented and what still needs to be done in order to estimate the backend work for the Guest Invite user story
• all open questions should be placed into EPIC here Guest User Roadmap#60
