[Uganda project - Technoforte team] Print action fails and shows document ID instead of opening PDF for printing

Summary

When clicking the Print action, the system displays a value like

instead of opening the PDF in the next page for printing.

Requirement

When a user clicks the Print button:

• The system should generate the certificate PDF.
• The PDF should open in the next page or browser tab.
• The user should be able to view and print the document.

Current Behaviour

• After clicking Print, the system shows an ID value (e.g., 6941130b-5154-8322-9807-d75c64e85df6) oops page in the UI.
• The PDF does not open in the next page or tab.
• Printing cannot proceed from the UI.

Expected Result

• Clicking Print should open the generated PDF in a new page or tab.
• The PDF should be rendered correctly and be ready for printing.

@prinzab The issue was caused by the browser’s pop-up blocking behavior.

Recently, the browser automatically disabled pop-ups for the site after detecting blocked or non-user-initiated pop-up attempts during the print flow. When Pop-ups and redirects are not allowed, the certificate PDF window is blocked, which interrupts printing.

After re-enabling pop-ups in the browser, the print functionality is working fine.
