DEED POLLS (CHANGE OF NAME)

Hi guys, any thoughts on when/how Deed Polls (changing of someone's name) will be tackled? I can't find anything in the manuals nor the discussions.

@bzmrgonz In OpenCRVS v1.9.0 coming out on the 17 October 2025, you can register any event. Including Marriage, Divorce, Adoption Name Change or any other custom event you might need.

Hi @bzmrgonz in a sense, yes! To give you an example, our WIP alpha release code includes a "Tennis Club Membership" event. This is a bit of a joke, but it serves to illustrate this capability.
