Show masks and annotations after generate

In my Kaggle notebook, I'm running a generate followed by show masks and show annotations in different cells like this:

sam = SamGeo(
    model_type="vit_h",
    checkpoint="sam_vit_h_4b8939.pth",
    sam_kwargs=None,
)

masks = "/kaggle/working/masks.tif"
sam.generate(
    source=image, 
    output=masks, 
    batch=True,
    foreground=True, 
    unique=True,
)

sam.show_masks(cmap="binary_r")

This works.

And then:

annotations = "/kaggle/working/annotations.tif"
sam.show_anns(axis="off", alpha=1, output=annotations)

But, I get:

Please run generate() first.

But the tutorial does like this. What am I missing here?
