@SeanHillGW , could you send a sample project here? I can't think of anything disruptive that occurred in 3.5.5 (vs 3.5.4?) but a project would help debug this further |

Good afternoon Mathieu
Thank you for your reply. please see project link here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IzOD451Yfq3dNxF_b6uWJEC1i8k-XRf7?usp=drive_link
I have tried uninstalling QGIS and upgrading to 3.40.7 and I have also
tried uninstalling and reinstalling the QField Sync plugin. I also
uninstalled QFields on my phone and reinstalled it, but the camera still
does not work, I still get the message that the file does not exist. I
created the project above from scratch and it is still not working. I have tried multiple pathway settings again even trying to force the direction by using @project_home + '/DCIM' but nothing is working.
Thank you for your help.
Kind regards
Sean Hill

Good morning Mathieu
I have tried it with the Bee Project and it worked even though I have used
the exact same settings as those of the bee project. I'm really confused
now!
You should have access to the project I shared with you now.
Kind regards and thank you again

@SeanHillGW <https://github.com/SeanHillGW> , thanks, issue spotted. You
can test the fix through the APKs here (#6310
<#6310>), they will be added in
~10 minutes.
The problem had to do with your project having a custom project home here:

If you remove that, the regression will be fixed and you won't need to
wait for QField 3.6.3 :)

Hi there
I am having tremendous issues with Qfields. I use the cloud based app often but recently I am having problems taking photos as attachments. I have tried everything regarding the path set ups in the Attribute Form setup, but nothing works. I create a special DCIM folder in the QGIS project folder, point the photo attachment to the folder using "Relative to project path" and "Absolute" and set the content to "Image" or "no content" I have tried literally everything and all combinations of things and yet when I download the project to my phone after packaging the project with QField sync, the photo capture does not work and I get a message telling me that the "file does not exist" when taking the photo. I have never had this problem until about a month ago when I updated my QGIS to 3.40.6 and my QField to 3.5.5. Prior to that everything worked just fine. Is there a bug in the latest versions? QField sync is also up to date?
