Base map creation breaks offline layer export

Qfield sync is configured to generate a base map and export offline-editing layers (contained in a sqlite database).

When base map generation is configured, the layers don't get exported (wire export) and are empty when opening the exported project in qfield. Also feature creation fails.

When base map generation is disabled, the layers get exported as expected.

Let me know, what additional information is needed.

if you export in a completely new directory, do you still experience the problem? If not, then we can close the issue, it is #424, if not, then adding a minimal test project would be helpful.

I could only observe the problem, when exporting into a completely empty directory (as on my version of the plugin, basemap export broke when the directory was not empty). Testproject will be provided as soon as I have time

Thanks for reporting @chrisgee, am unfortunately not able the reproduce the problem, neither with the bees project nor the provided QGIS project : basemap configured export or not, it is exporting layers as well as the basemap 🤔 . Feature creation and editing is possible in QField.

Unfortunately no other error messages. I also attach my exported project here. And screenshots when attempting to create a feature. The combobox for "Art" remains empty (fed from "Arten" table) and saving the new point shows "Speichern nicht möglich"

This is by the way consistent between Desktop (macos) and mobile (Android) versions of the QField app. Opening the exported project in QGIS-3.40 seems not to show this issue.

Interestingly (and confusingly), even though qfield shows the error "Speichern nicht möglich" and does not close the dialog, the point actually is in the database (as can be seen when opening the project in QGIS).

So with qfield 3.5.4 the issue no longer exists
