Inconsistencies in semantic model after upgrade to 5.1 #5363
Description
I observe some inconsistencies in the semantic model since the update to version 5.1
Expected Behavior
Changing semantic tags in Main UI should result in changed and consistent semantic metadata
Current Behavior
For some items the semantic metadata does no longer get updated in my setup. These items had custom semantic tags before these tags became part of the standard OH deployment (its the OpenState property but it sat at a different location in the property hierarchy in my custom setup). I documented two examples with screenshots in the community forum: https://community.openhab.org/t/openhab-5-1-release-discussion/167620/516?u=drrsatzteil
Rest API shows the old semantic value that no longer exists. In the UI this leads to some unexpected side effects.
Possible Solution
Unknown
Steps to Reproduce (for Bugs)
This might be difficult: Before 5.1 I had quite a few custom semantic tags in the system, and the items that currently have problems were tagged with those. With the latest OH updates these properties became part of the standard deployment and thus kind of replaced my previously manually created tags. However the semantics metadata still clings to the old values somehow and don't get updated when I change tags in Main UI. See discussion here: https://community.openhab.org/t/openhab-5-1-release-discussion/167620/516?u=drrsatzteil
Context
Semantic model not really usable for these items. I could probably simply replace the items with new ones but was keeping them for documenting this / reproducing this.
