Description
We want to understand our users behaviour in the UI. Therefore we need collect metrics.
All metrics should document what they measure and why we measure it.
Our solution needs to comply with data protection and should do the tracking in a privacy preserving way
This task is part of the epic #66
The epic contains a collection of metrics.
We start with just the following 2:
- Unique Users per Week: How many users do we have?
- Stretch: Amount of sessions (= start to end of interaction of user): How often is our UI used? How often do users use our webapp?
We need to decide for a Metric Tracking solution, add necessary SDKs and add the 2 metrics as a kind of template for later additions.

Done Criteria
- Use Dynatrace to collect this data - non personalized!
- Offer mechanisms for other integration paths (e.g. a company may use datadog, newrelic or any other proprietary tool)
- Stretch: OTEL?
