Understand the Task

Description
We need to check how much effort it would be to implement family providers into our releasechannel.

What is required to accept the Task as done.

• PoC Spike Implementation of an Family Provider
• time estimation for epic has been found

One problem for family providers is, that the mirrored image still reference the main family provider image inside its package.yaml.
Found a solution by building a new docker image referencing the provider image and changing the dependency to a mirrored family provider image.

Changing files inside a docker file would be a nice plugin for the new OCM localization feature.

This means, that we need to rebuild all providers which are part of a family into new images (or in simpler terms, add a new layer with a modifier package.yaml)

Proposed tasks for tackling Family Providers:

• Extend file format for the releases to support family providers to list a whole family in one file
• Extend file format to allow setting the provider to be mirrored (add mirrored property)
• Combine mirroring and ocm building into one file (mirror providers based on releases files)
• Optimize mirroring and ocm creation (maybe by using new OCM localization for better mirroring?)
