The BOIN design [Liu & Yuan (2015)] sits half way between fully algorithmic designs such as the 3 + 3 and model based designs such as CRM. It is an obvious candidate for inclusion in crmPack. This issue serves as a marker and discussion forum for the design proposal in the associated branch.
