Should I use rails anycable gem with this?

Sorry New to this aspect of rails I need to integrate rails, actioncable, redis server, nginx The redis server is installed and running Should I also use the anycable gem or is there no need If it matters my app also makes connection to node server which has a cors config to allow cross origin requests
