[PROPOSAL] 3.5.1 Patch Release - X-Request-ID errors #90
Description
In the 3.5.0 release, a change was merged into core in opensearch-project/OpenSearch#19798 without a coordinated change in opensearch-project/security#5954.
As a result, OpenSearch deployments behind proxies that send the X-Request-Id header can experience request failures.
I’m opening this issue with the TSC to request a decision on whether this issue qualifies for an expedited patch release for the community.
