Can't overwrite bootloader

I have the overwrite bootloader selected but it's still not working.

do i need to put the wires to different pins?

I have a WB3S chip

I'm getting this

Using hack to write QIO - just skip bootloader...
... so bootloader will not be overwritten!

It writes everything ok but the bootloader I have on the chip appears to be corrupt as I can't access the web app and it looks like it's not booting when powered up.

Any ideas or do I need to use the SPI writer?

I solve similar things using Custom operation, wouldn't that help too?
But I had to extract the relevant bin data from-from using hexedit.
