0.49.2 version doesn't respect JAVACMD_OPTIONS="-Djava.io.tmpdir=/some/other/place"

Hi, it can use the temp dir set by JAVACMD_OPTIONS correctly with 0.48.3, but not the case anymore in 0.49.2. How to properly set this variable in the latest version? Is there any breaking change I missed? Thanks!
