Cursive feature in Playwrite font (not ligatures)

It seems that Playwrite is using a feature that isn't supported by Opentype.js to smoothly connect the glyphs. (It isn't ligatures.)

Does anyone know what the feature is, and if there is an existing option to support it?

The different Playwrite fonts tend to use the same OpenType features, but some are different.

The font you are showing (Playwrite USA Traditional) is using calt, dist, kern, and mark on that text sample.
