Goal: Establish consistent naming for component states beyond native pseudo-selectors

Considerations:

• Must work alongside native pseudo-selectors (:hover, :focus-visible, etc.)
• Should handle artificially triggered states
• Needs to be clear and predictable
• Should follow BEM modifier conventions
• Must support accessibility attributes
