Question About GSoC 2025 Participation & Project 14

Hey folks,

I've been exploring the project ideas for GSoC 2025, and Project 14 (Accelerating Inference of NNCF-Compressed LLMs with Triton) caught my interest. I'm a working professional and fairly new to open-source contributions. According to the eligibility rules on the GSoC website, working professionals can participate, but I wanted to check if that's okay with the OpenVINO community as well.

I can comfortably dedicate around 20 hours per week to the project. I have experience with quantization but am a beginner with Triton, so this seems like a great opportunity to dive deeper while contributing. Before I start researching the project and the NNCF codebase, I just wanted to confirm if my participation would be okay.
