I'm Roger, a first-year Mathematics student at UCL with Python programming experience and foundational machine learning knowledge. I'm deeply interested in contributing to the "Continuous Face-Detection with Automatic Device Switching" project and would greatly appreciate your guidance on becoming a contributor.

This project attracts me because I believe it has great potential to enhance inference engine switching, achieving an optimal balance between power consumption, response speed, and feedback quality. This is not only valuable for this toolkit but also for AI tools in general. I understand that completing the prerequisite task is necessary before applying, and I plan to start working on it. As a beginner, I only have a basic understanding of Python packages like NumPy, Pandas, and PyTorch, as well as fundamental machine learning concepts. I would like to know to what extent I need to enhance these skills in order to excel in this project.

More generally, I often feel overwhelmed when learning new skills because there are so many related packages and algorithms. I wonder if there is a way to prioritize which skills to learn first. Additionally, for different AI/ML-related projects, what level of coding proficiency should I have to begin contributing effectively?
