Hi Shivam and Aishwarye,
I'm Roger, a first-year Mathematics student at UCL with Python programming experience and foundational machine learning knowledge. I'm deeply interested in contributing to the "Continuous Face-Detection with Automatic Device Switching" project and would greatly appreciate your guidance on becoming a contributor.
This project attracts me because I believe it has great potential to enhance inference engine switching, achieving an optimal balance between power consumption, response speed, and feedback quality. This is not only valuable for this toolkit but also for AI tools in general. I’m eager to participate in this project to deepen my understanding of the field and continue actively contributing to its development.
I understand that completing the prerequisite task is necessary before applying, and I plan to start working on it. At the same time, I would love to engage in discussions with mentors to gain insights and ensure I’m on the right track. If possible, I’d also appreciate broader discussions beyond this specific project.
I'm a quick learner with strong critical thinking skills, and with the support of mentors, I believe I can grow quickly and make meaningful contributions to open-source projects. Looking forward to your advice and suggestions!
Best regards,
Roger
