Seeking Advice on Gesture Control Project with OpenVINO

Hello @openvino-dev-samples and @zhuo-yoyowz,
I have been exploring the Gesture Control with OpenVINO project for GSoC and have been diving into the MediaPipe Gesture Recognizer and OpenVINO for a few days. I would love to get your input on the following questions before finalizing my approach:

1. Should I focus more on optimization for performance, or is the main goal to adapt the existing gesture model?
2. For real-time gesture control, what are the most important factors I should be aware of (e.g., latency, hardware optimizations)?
   I’ve been doing some research, but I’d appreciate any insights or resources you can share!
