Description
Hi, we're looking into issuing verifiable credentials within @opencrvs. We are an established open-source civil registration platform that records life events. We're both piloting and being deployed in production in various countries.
My task is to investigate what is the best approach for implementing OpenID4VCI for birth certificates. This repo is fairly low level and doesn't have much documentation yet, so I'm wondering
- if you'd have a view whether we could implement using your abstractions, and whether you have suggestions for other platforms or abstractions for us, and..
- if you have any implementation examples or code snippets of issuance
Also just after writing this I noticed this is a part of https://github.com/openwallet-foundation/credo-ts which I'll look into as well (and probably should've opened this discussion there)
Our functional flow is still getting together, but in general:
- registrar fill out the birth registration form
- registrar registers the birth, and prints birth certificate to the mother (/ any informant)
- registrar shows an QR credential offer to the mother
- mother scans the credential to herself
Thanks for any inputs
