• Description: As AI large-scale model applications gradually penetrate into various vertical industries and scenarios, the computing power provided by simple large-scale computing centers will not meet the diverse AI computing needs. Edge AI applications will occupy an important position. OpenYurt, as a platform-level edge cloud-native project, involves both cloud-native and edge computing fields. OpenYurt combines the cloud-native ecosystem to interface with heterogeneous edge computing resources, including CDNs, ENS, and edge IoT devices, and provides standard edge resource and business management interfaces. In order to shield the complexity of OpenYurt and enable many developers in the edge computing field to quickly get started with the OpenYurt platform, the community provides the OpenYurt experience center project, which quickly provides developers with an OpenYurt cluster for development and testing in a plug-and-play manner. This project focuses on integrating open-source edge AI applications (such as whisper.cpp, llama) into the OpenYurt experience center, allowing new users to quickly deploy the application to the cluster through the experience center and experience edge AI capabilities.

Hi @luc99hen, I'm applying for the LFX Mentorship and very interested in this task!

In my current internship, I worked on integrating Jetson-based AI modules (intrusion, fire, helmet detection) into a React dashboard. I containerized them using Docker, built deployment templates for ARM/x86 platforms, and pushed real-time events via WebSocket. I’d love to help with edge AI integration into the OpenYurt experience center and am happy to share ideas on modular deployment and visualization.
